Genius Premium Tuition is hiring Education Consultants/ Learning support specialists – the professionals who assess a student, work out what’s actually blocking them, design the programme that fixes it, and lead the team that delivers it.
If you have a background in psychometrics, scholastic assessment, learner support, remedial education or counselling, this is the role where all of it gets used at once.
WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY INVOLVES
- Conducting assessment interviews with families to establish need and history
- Administering scholastic assessments and interpreting the results
- Compiling written feedback reports and presenting them to parents in person
- Identifying barriers to learning – academic, motivational, behavioural, organisational – and designing a targeted programme around them
- Selecting, briefing, coaching and supervising the tutors delivering that programme
- Running progress reviews and adjusting the intervention on the evidence
- Liaising with the student’s teachers, educational psychologists, HODs and other professionals
- You carry your own portfolio of students and families. You are accountable for their results.

You do not need HPCSA registration or a Master’s for this role.
WHAT YOU’LL EARN
- R28 000 per month starting
- Potentially R30 000 – R40 000 per month based on performance and outcomes
- Team Leaders earn from R35 000 per month
TRAINING
Three months of structured onboarding under an experienced team leader covering our assessment processes, reporting standards, pedagogies and systems. You’ll shadow live client meetings before you run your own, while still earning the minimum of R28 000.
PROGRESSION
Successful Education Consultants become Team Leaders. Our entire Executive Team and every branch leader started in this role.
REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant degree – psychology, education, or a related field
- Strong academic record, including good matric results
- Excellent written English. You will be writing reports parents rely on
- Confident in front of parents – assessment feedback meetings are yours to run
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
